Aurora Systems support for Vista Editions

May 24, 2007

Aurora Systems is pleased to announce the availability of
Aurora Suite 2005 now with support for Windows Vista 32-bit
editions. This release also includes a number of bugfixes
and is a recommended update for all users of Aurora Suite
2005.

The updated Aurora Suite 2005.0004 can be downloaded from
our Demos pages:

http://www.aurora-systems.com/pages/demodown.html

Aurora Suite 2005 now includes all signed executable files
(.DLL and .EXE) to prevent malicious files from
masquerading as our applications. You can check the
digital signature of the downloaded files by right-clicking
on the file and choosing Properties. The Digital
Signatures tab should say the files are signed by Aurora
Systems, Inc.

Some of the changes and fixes in this release include:

Added: Support for Windows Vista 32-bit editions. This
includes support for both Adminstrator and LUA accounts.
Added: All Aurora Suite binaries are now digitally signed
to prevent tampering. Right click on any Aurora Suite
binary file to examine its signature. The Digital
Signatures tab under Properties should say the files are
signed by Aurora Systems, Inc.
Fixed: Importing text from the clipboard will work if the
dictionary is set to not learn new words.
Fixed: Going into Register while already in Buy Now (or
vice-versa) or if went back into either caused Aurora to
crash.
Fixed: Crash if you "Read Last Word" with no word typed.
Fixed: Repeatedly changing SAPI 4 synthesizers in Voice
Options would cause it not to speak if a different SAPI
driver was selected.
Fixed: Random crashes in SAPI 5 driver.
Fixed: Optimize dictionary could crash.
