“ZoomText Tutorial” available immediately

June 19, 2007

Over the last few years the capabilities of ZoomText have
grown dramatically. With this growth comes added complexity
even with the best user interface design in the AT
marketplace. We’ve heard numerous requests by our dealers
and end users to help make ZoomText easier to demonstrate
and understand. In response to those requests we’re
announcing the new “ZoomText Tutorial” available
immediately at www.aisquared.com/tutorial.

What does the tutorial cover?

The tutorial covers fifteen of the most popular ZoomText
features. Those features are categorized as follows:

How can I give the ZoomText Tutorial to my customers?

Currently the ZoomText tutorial is available to view on the
web at www.aisquared.com/tutorial. A downloadable installer
(100 MB) is also available at:

http://www.zoomtext.com/videos/Tutorial/Download/ZoomTextTutorial.exe

We will be including the ZoomText tutorial on all CD’s
starting with ZoomText 9.12, which is currently scheduled
for release in late August of this year.

Our plans include updating the tutorial in the future –
we’ll notify you again via e-mail if we make changes. At
that point you should download a new version for
distribution.

Things to Know:

Navigating: Individual tutorials open in their own browser
window because navigation commands are not built into the
web version. Please download and run a local copy if this
is a problem. Local copies have navigation support.
Installer: An installer is under development. It will place
an icon on the desktop and, for CD distributions, copy the
tutorial to hard drive for better performance.
There are currently no plans for localizing the tutorial.
The entire tutorial is self-voicing.
You can use ZoomText itself to magnify the presentation if
it is not large enough.
